1. What can I expect from Lumiere Excel Light Therapie sessions?
Red and near-infrared light are intended to non-invasively improve the appearance of fine lines, skin tone, texture and clarity.
2. How is Lumiere Excel Light Therapie used?
Sessions alternate between the two light spectra with at least 48 hours between sessions. Lumiere Excel is designed never to deliver red and near-infrared light together.
3. Does light thereapy produce the same light as from the sun? Can it damage my skin?
Sunlight can profoundly affect the skin, causing premature aging, skin cancer, and and host of other changes due to the emission of broad spectrum ultraviolet (UV) light through the atmosphere. Lumiere Excel Light Therapie technology utilizes both the visible spectra of light, red (633 nm) as well as the invisible spectra, near-infrared (830 nm) but Lumiere Excel contains no UVA of UVB rays.
4. What is Lumiere Excel Light Therapie?
Lumiere Excel Light Therapie is non-invasive, meaning it does not cut, burn or break the skin surface (epidermis). Lumiere Excel Light Therapie produces no heat, vaporization or burning of surrounding tissue, and thus, no inflammation (swelling) and no erythema (redness) following illumination. There is no down-time.
5. Does Lumiere Excel Light Therapie work equally well on light, tanned or dark skin?
Lumiere Excel Light Therapie can be used on clients with every conventional skin type and color.
